Knots is Oleg Khamokov's debut feature film in the Kabardian language. The plot follows the relationship between an adult truck driver, Berd, and 17-year-old Dina, who is marrying him. They are building the largest house in the village. Berd intends for it to become a symbol of his superiority over his fellow villagers. Amidst the whirlwind of events, the couple fails to notice that the house they spent so long building has become an impenetrable fortress.
